Hill returns to track at wheel of Mercedes.Damon Hill returned to the racing seat at Brands Hatch after conducting a test in a DTM AMG Mercedes C-Class at the Kent circuit ahead of the German series' arrival next weekend. Inspired by the likes of his former Formula One rivals Mika Hakkinen, Jean Alesi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Hill expressed an interest in sampling one of the fire-spitting V8 machines at the three-day test that took place ahead of the season. It was an opportunity Mercedes elected to give the 1996 World Champion prior to Brands Hatch welcoming the championship back to the United Kingdom for the first time since 2003.
